Public meetings

City Council and Planning Commission meetings are held at the Village Hall, 121 Judd Street, and are open to the public.

Marine’s calendar is set by the seasons and by volunteers. The biggest day of the year is the Fourth of July, when the village’s population multiplies for a parade down Judd Street. The fire department’s street dance opens summer in June, Memorial Day brings a quiet ceremony at Oakland Cemetery, and the Small Business Saturday market starts the holidays.

Beyond these, look for concerts, film nights, folk-school classes and fundraisers organized by local groups; the community page lists who does what. Upcoming dates below are pulled from the official city calendar each time this site updates.
